There is a NEW Fundraiser from Interstate Batteries (everyone needs batteries!) --- This fundraiser will put 40% of your purchase DIRECTLY into your student account. You may also send the link to friends and relatives. When you order on the LAST PAGE make sure you put your students name into the box so that they get full credit for the sale. Weekly Events 
Wednesday, Sept. 1st:

• First day of school!
• Field rehearsal (band and color guard) 3:00-5:30pm

Thursday, Sept 2nd:

• Band only music rehearsal 3:00pm-5:30pm

Friday, Sept 3rd:

• Pep band report time is 5:15pm, bus leaves at 5:30pm for Artesia High School. Return time approximately 10:00pm

Other important dates:
Tuesday, September 7th:

• Dine Out Night: Join us at Soup Plantation in Costa Mesa. 15% of proceeds go to our general fund, must present flyer and all meals must include a beverage. See attached flyer.

Wednesday, September 8th:

• Booster Meeting, 7:00pm in the band room. All parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to attend this informative meeting

Wednesday, September 15th:

• Bingo Orientation (new participants only). Anyone interested in working bingo to earn money for your students account must first attend a bingo orientation to become eligible. Please contact Vicki Doss for more information. DrumlineVP@ehsbandfamily.org

Saturday, November 20th:

• SCJA State Band Championships hosted by the EHS Band and Color Guard Booster Association. Please mark your calendars for this date as all families are expected to support this major fundraising event

Other important reminders:

• Selling additional Community Discount Cards is a good way to earn money for your students account. All cards sold after the first 3 will earn $5.00 per card for your student account. Remember, cards are available for many other areas. They make great gifts!
• Sell program ads for the state band championships and earn money for both our general fund and for your students account. Visit our website for more information. http://www.ehsbandfamily.org
• Help us to achieve our fundraising goals by supporting our Sponsorship Program.
